CoEng Advisors was founded by John Molnar. As CEO, CTO, and Director of Engineering, he brings an expertise in energy and mechanical engineering. We take a digital approach to building management and have strong departments in Building Sciences as well as Cloud Application Development.
In March 2020, CoEng partnered with LPI Mechanical, a national HVAC contractor. Our mutual customers across Canada will now benefit from the combined strength of CoEng's smart buildings and energy management services, and LPI's service contracting and building operations services. John Molnar, P.Eng., LEED AP | Founder, CEO, & Director of Engineering
After 10 years in design and sales of leading-edge Heating, Ventilating, and Air-Conditioning/Refrigeration (HVAC/R) Systems, John Molnar founded CoEng Advisors with an aim make a measurable difference in the sustainability of the existing building market. He is a Professional Engineer in Ontario, Past-President of the Hamilton Chapter of ASHRAE, and a LEED Accredited Professional. He has built his reputation through strong ethics in an industry that challenges one’s character every day. John’s guiding compass is ensuring that what is being done is in the best interest of the client.
Aaron Halberstadt, B.Eng., E.I.T. | Engineering Analyst
Aaron is a Carleton University Energy Engineering graduate with a minor in law. He has spent time as a building automation service technician learning all about proper sequencing of HVAC equipment, troubleshooting of controllers and providing technical support to customers. Under the role of Engineering Analyst, Aaron provides engineering support, audits of buildings and review of building automation sequencing of operation along with remote technical support.
